Why choose whole-bean coffee?

Grinding right before you brew unlocks aromas and flavors pre-ground coffee loses along the way. Our whole bean coffee is roasted to order and packed fresh, so you’re brewing with beans at their best.

Choose your brew method, dial in your grind, and make a cup that tastes exactly the way you like it—every time.

• More aroma from freshly roasted beans
• More control over grind size and extraction
• More freshness when stored sealed and cool

Whether you’re just starting or dialing things in

Whole bean coffee gives you room to experiment and refine. If you’re new to brewing, grinding fresh helps you learn what different methods bring out in the cup. If you already know your preferences, it lets you fine-tune strength, texture, and flavor—brew by brew.

Light roasts reward clarity and precision. Medium and dark roasts offer more flexibility and body. However you brew, whole bean coffee gives you the most control over the final result.

Whole-Bean Coffee FAQs

What makes Nawalee whole bean coffee fresher than grocery store beans?

We roast our coffee to order and pack it fresh, rather than letting it sit on shelves for weeks or months. Fresher whole bean coffee means more aroma, more flavor, and a better cup overall.

Do I need a special grinder for whole bean coffee?

No. A burr grinder offers more consistency than a blade grinder, but you don’t need anything fancy to get started. Even an entry-level burr grinder will noticeably improve your coffee.

How should I store whole bean coffee once it arrives?

Keep your beans in their original bag or an airtight container, stored in a cool, dark place. Avoid the fridge or freezer. Stored properly, whole beans stay flavorful for weeks.

When should I grind and brew whole bean coffee?

Our whole beans are ready to brew on arrival. Many coffee drinkers find the sweet spot is between a few days and a couple of weeks after roasting. Stored well, your beans will stay expressive well beyond that.

What grind size should I use for whole bean coffee?

Grind size depends on your brew method:

• Drip: medium
• Pour-over: medium-fine
• French press: coarse
• Espresso: fine

Adjust grind size to control flow rate and flavor until it tastes right to you.
